It’s Your Symphony – Gifts From Individuals
The New World Symphony relies on donations to train our Fellows and bring fantastic performances to the community. Your generosity is part of a tradition of support that has sustained NWS for over 22 years.

You have the power to light up the stage, introduce a child to classical music, provide a master class and to fulfill dreams.

To support artistry in your community Give Now online or contact Paul Woehrle at 305-428-6731 or paul.woehrle@nws.edu to learn more. Potential benefits of your gift include:

  • Recognition in the Lincoln Theatre lobby and concert program books
  • Invitations to select rehearsals and private luncheons
  • Special receptions with MTT, guest artists and NWS Fellows
  • Priority seating at Adrienne Arsht Center concerts
  • The opportunity to sponsor an NWS Fellow or concert

Personal Tributes – Honorary and Memorial Gifts
The way in which we pay tribute to important people in our lives carries great significance. Your donation may commemorate special events such as birthdays, weddings and anniversaries or provide a meaningful expression of condolence that serves as a memorial for someone who has passed away. You can also honor someone by naming a chair in the new Frank Gehry-designed facility.

You and the individual or family that you designate will receive acknowledgement of the gift, which is a tax-deductible contribution.

We are humbled by the number of patrons who choose to honor, celebrate or memorialize their loved ones and special occasions through New World Symphony tribute gifts. Their thoughtfulness speaks volumes.

Leave a Legacy – Estate and Gift Planning
Your legacy can sustain the future of the New World Symphony, America’s Orchestra Academy, through bequests, trusts, charitable gift annuities and other planned gifts. Estate planning may provide lifetime income, convert low-yielding assets into a higher income stream, reduce or eliminate taxes on capital gains, generate a substantial federal income tax deduction, and eliminate or reduce federal estate taxes.

To learn more and fulfill your desire to ensure a bright future for classical music for generations to come, contact Paul Woehrle at 305-428-6731 or paul.woehrle@nws.edu.

A Valued Partnership – Underwriting by Corporations, Foundations and Individuals
For over 22 years the New World Symphony has played an important cultural role in our community. Because our worldwide recognition for excellence is of benefit to underwriters, many corporations, foundations and individuals have elected to sponsor NWS programs that best match their profile and interests.

The New World Symphony will provide an amazing return on your investment.

  • Corporate Underwriting
At the New World Symphony, corporate underwriting not only supports the arts in our community but provides an unbeatable marketing opportunity. How does New World Symphony underwriting benefit your business? For starters:

    • Introduce your company to a highly sophisticated target audience
    • Network with influential community leaders
    • Entertain clients and employees
    • Show your corporate citizenship
    • Meet guest artists and NWS Fellows
    • Associate your company with a young, energetic world-class ensemble led by Michael Tilson Thomas
For more information, contact Nancy Davis at 305-428-6739 or nancy.davis@nws.edu.

  • Foundation Underwriting
Support from the foundation community is crucial to the programs and activities of the New World Symphony. Foundation grants make possible our Kids in the Concert Halls series, community engagement presentations in Miami-Dade schools and Internet2 long-distance learning, among other programs. Gifts may be designated for particular programs, projects or funds.

  • For more information on foundation underwriting, contact David Sepulveda at 305-428-6735 or david.sepulveda@nws.edu.

  • Individual Underwriting
As an individual donor to the New World Symphony, you have the same underwriting opportunities as our corporate and foundation supporters. You choose from sponsoring a Fellow, concert or other program. In addition, there are many underwriting opportunities at our new Frank Gehry-designed campus.

For more information on individual underwriting, contact Paul Woehrle at 305-428-6731 or paul.woehrle@nws.edu.
