Education Concerts and Webcast
The NWS Education Concerts are designed to be an inspirational experience outside the classroom for grades 4-12. These thematic daytime concerts will introduce major orchestral works and composers to students from Miami-Dade and Broward counties. A program/study guide will be sent in advance to all participating classes and round-trip bus transportation is provided free of charge. The duration of each concert is one hour.
Voices of Nature
December 15 and 16

This year’s concert, Voices of Nature, is all about music, nature and climate change. The NWS Education Concerts are designed to be an inspirational experience outside the classroom for grades 4-12. The concert will introduce major orchestral works and composers to students from Miami-Dade and Broward counties. A program study guide will be sent in advance to all participating classes. Due to social distancing orders for all MDCPS school-related field trips, the performance will be accessible online. Fellows will engage with your students virtually in-between pieces throughout the program. The duration of each concert is one hour. Each concert is presented free of charge.

Education Concert Webcast
Each season NWS is proud to offer a free, high-quality webcast of our annual Education Concert program, which is a post-production recording of the live concerts performed at the New World Center. Additionally, we offer a program Study Guide free of charge to assist you with preparing your students for the presentation. This concert is targeted at students in grades 4 -12, but may also be viewed by younger students. Instructions for viewing will be sent upon registration.
