Spooks, treats and yummy eats! All souls are welcome at Dia de Los Muertos: A New World Symphony Mobile WALLCAST® Concert at CityPlace Doral.
Celebrate a culturally rich Latin American tradition and come together as a community through a variety of activities and culminating with a concert under the stars that blends cutting edge technology with live performance.
Bring your camera, family and costumes! CityPlace Doral will be decked out in colorful Día de Los Muertos themed decorations. At the main entrance, guests will be welcomed by a wooden calavera (sugar skull) and colorful papel picado (perforated paper). The Fountain Plaza will be ornamented with an altar display of a trio catrines (male skeleton figures) with flowers, marigolds, papel picado and more.
Before the concert, children and families can enjoy face painting, arts and crafts with Miami Children’s Museum, food sampling from local restaurants and a center-wide processional with performances by folkloric dancers, stilt walkers, mariachis and costumed characters. Guests are encouraged to dress in theme.

The evening will conclude with “Día de Los Muertos: A New World Symphony Mobile WALLCAST® Concert,” a live performance by NWS Fellows alongside an eye-opening collection of New World Symphony concert videos recorded for the big screen.
