Events & Tickets

Kick off the new year with a family-friendly music festival at the African Heritage Cultural Arts Center (AHCAC) in Liberty City. Presented in partnership with New World Symphony, this free festival will include hands on activities, an instrument zoo, musical story time, and more. Bring the whole family and spend the afternoon making and enjoying art and music.
Throughout the day, grab lunch from a food truck and enjoy live performances from local musicians. As the sun sets, the AHCAC will present a New World Symphony Mobile WALLCAST® Concert.
During this free event, musicians from the New World Symphony will be handing out 50 tickets to see Grammy-award winning bandleader and saxophonist Branford Marsalis perform with New World Symphony on Tuesday, February 7.
This festival features live music from:
- New Canon Chamber Collective
- Young Musicians Unite
- New World Symphony
- Ja’Nia Harden, jazz vocalist and author
This Mobile WALLCAST® Concert is made possible with the support of the Miami-Dade County Department of Cultural Affairs and the Cultural Affairs Council, the Miami-Dade County Mayor, and Board of County Commissioners. NWS’s Mobile WALLCAST ® Concert Series is made possible with the support of the Dr. M. Lee Pearce Foundation, Wege Foundation, and the NWS Resilience Fund.
