From Miami to Buenos Aires this week, New World Symphony related coverage has been published online in Spanish -
On Sunday February 28 special guest performer soprano Julia Bullock appears in the “Iberian Impressions” Chamber Music concert. She will be performing works by Maurice Ravel and Manuel de Falla. She also appeared with New World Symphony last season at the Pulse concert in November 2014 and the Mini-Concerts of January 2015, performing two works at each.
Thus it is only appropriate that Julia’s profile at miamiclasica.com starts off with an old Spanish saying “Lo bueno si breve dos veces bueno.” Miami Clásica is a blog about classical music written by Sebastian Spreng, who is also a former program annotator in Spanish for NWS, as well as a cover artist for a former season program book. He wrote a similar profile of Ms. Bullock for El Nuevo Herald.

And John Kieser, Executive Vice President and Provost at New World Symphony, wrote an article for the website LinkedIn entitled “10 Reasons why Classical Musicians make the best employees.” It was then translated and reposted by Eduardo Ihidoype who is “Gerente Música para la Equidad en Ministerio de Educación de la Ciudad de Buenos Aires” or loosely translated, ‘Music Director for Equity in the Ministry of Education of the City of Buenos Aires.’
