Once Upon a Kitchen coming to New World Center
Four of the globe’s greatest chefs are officially poised to bring their Michelin stars to Miami Beach for one of the most extraordinary and unprecedented culinary experiences in the world. On December 1, 2019 the New World Center will be home to Once Upon a Kitchen—a bucket list-worthy epicurean extravaganza hosted by GR8 Group that will unite a quartet of culinary masters: Massimo Bottura, Mauro Colagreco, Alex Atala, and Antonio Bachour.
The seven-course, wine-paired dinner will be presided over by renowned wine expert Roberto Cipresso and comprised of signature dishes from each chef and their widely celebrated restaurants. Adding to the excitement of the night, attendees will be able to experience a uniquely crafted cocktail hour prior to the dinner, where guests will experience the wonders of mixology, choreographed by acclaimed alchemist Alex Ott.
In addition to the event’s impressive roster of accolades, Once Upon a Kitchen is endorsed by Forbes Travel Guide and the Fine Dining Chapter of YPO, drawing an illustrious and highly sought-after cadre of notables, providing the opportunity for elite access and partnerships for like-minded luxury brands to complement and further enhance the overall experience.
THE CHEFS
The 2019 Once Upon a Kitchen headliner chefs include Massimo Bottura, whose restaurant, Osteria Francescana, in Modena, Italy, ranked No. 1 in 2018. Bottura was also recently named one of the most influential people of 2019 by Time magazine.
Mauro Colagreco, whose restaurant, Mirazur, in Menton, France, earned the No. 1 spot on the 2019 “World’s 50 Best” list.
These back-to-back champion chefs will be joined by two more culinary heavyweights, Alex Atala -- whose restaurant, D.O.M., in São Paulo, Brazil, was rated the fourth-best in the world and currently holds the title of "Acqua Panna Best Restaurant in South America.”
Miami’s own Antonio Bachour, named the best pastry chef in the world at “The Best Chef Awards 2018,” will provide the evening’s sweet finale.
