Support the New World Symphony 

Your contributions make a difference. All gifts ensure that NWS can continue to provide 30% of performances free of charge so everyone in our community can attend high quality classical music concerts.

The past year has underscored NWS’s need to be resilient in challenging times. Your contributions are more important than ever in ensuring that our Fellows develop skillsets that take them beyond the concert hall and into the community. With your support, NWS can continue to develop programs that are accessible to every member of our community and to classical music lovers around the world.

• $100,000 will support NWS’s mobile wall project, offering pop-up WALLCAST® concert performances around the community and enabling us to engage new audiences across Miami-Dade County
• $75,000 supports NWS BLUE Projects (Building, Learning, Understanding Experimenting), empowering the Fellows to engage and build new audiences while pursuing their personal professional development and entrepreneurial goals
• $50,000 will fund NWS’s ongoing programs to address equity, diversity, inclusion and belonging, offering training and support for Fellows and staff and ensuring resources are available for these important undertakings
• $25,000 funds new commissions, helping NWS engage a diverse pool of talented young composers to expand the repertoire while offering our Fellows the exciting experience of working with them to prepare their pieces for world premieres
• $20,000 engages a guest artist for a week-long residence at NWS, including rehearsing with Fellows and concert performances
• $10,000 funds audition coaches, helping ensure that the Fellows are fully prepared to successfully secure jobs
• $5,000 rents buses to bring children from local schools to the New World Center for educational performances
• $2,500 funds one of the 125 visiting faculty NWS recruits annually to work with the Fellows
• $1,000 underwrites an Internet2 session, linking our audiences and our Fellows to guest faculty and composers from around the world
• $500 staffs an Inside the Music performance, which enhances Fellows’ teaching skills and offers patrons background information on a variety of musical topics
• $250 pays for the sheet music for one week of performances at NWS
