Harper Randolph

Harper Randolph is a second-year Viola Fellow at the New World Symphony. Prior to joining NWS, she was a fellow at the Detroit Symphony Orchestra from 2023-2025, as well as a fellow at the Grant Park Music Festival. Her recent engagements include performing on tour with the Sphinx Virtuosi during its 2024-25 season, and performing a viola/cello duo recital with her twin brother Cole as part of the Bouchaine Young Artists Concert Series at Festival Napa Valley. Harper has also had the privilege to perform with world-renowned artists such as Stevie Wonder, Ed Sheeran, Eminem and Common.

Harper has garnered numerous awards and recognition in competitions including third prize in the 2022 Sphinx Competition and first prize in the 2019 NYU Concerto Competition. She has attended notable summer festivals including the Banff Evolution Quartet festival, Chautauqua and Voksenhåsen Summer Academy. She has performed at acclaimed venues including Carnegie Hall, the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the White House, John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts and Pálffy Palace in Prague, Czech Republic. She holds degrees from New York University and University of Michigan School of Music, Theatre & Dance. Her teachers include Stephanie Baer, Karen Ritscher and Caroline Coade.
