To help us identify and properly acknowledge your generosity, please notify us when initiating your transfer. 

A gift of appreciated stock or other securities can be a tax-efficient way to support  New World Symphony while making a meaningful philanthropic impact.  

To make a gift of securities, please contact Julia Diegel, Senior Director of Individual Giving, at 305.428.6731 or Julia.Diegel@nws.edu for transfer instructions. Because securities may be transferred without identifying the donor, we also encourage you to notify us when initiating your gift so we can properly acknowledge your generosity. 

A donor-advised fund (DAF) is a convenient and flexible way to support New World Symphony. You may recommend a grant to NWS through your sponsoring organization and put your charitable funds to work advancing our mission. 

If you have already recommended a grant, please let us know so we can thank you and ensure your gift is properly acknowledged.

If you are age 70½ or older, you may be eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to New World Symphony. A QCD can be a tax-efficient way to support NWS and may count toward your annual Required Minimum Distribution, if applicable. 

Please consult your financial or tax advisor to determine whether a charitable gift from your IRA is right for you. 

Your generosity may go even further through an employer matching gift program. Many companies match charitable contributions made by employees—doubling or even tripling the impact of your support. 

Check with your employer to learn whether your gift to New World Symphony is eligible for a match.
