Claudia Mayoss

Born and mostly raised in the Bay Area, California, Claudia Mayoss is a dance artist based in San Francisco. She earned a BA in both dance and political science from UCLA and an MA in dance performance from London Contemporary Dance School.  

Throughout her dance career she’s had the opportunity to work with artists such as Darrian O’Reilly, Cheng-Chieh Yu, Jocelyn Reyes, André Zachery and Igor x Moreno, among others.  

Like many artists, Mayoss has had to reckon with what dance looks like for them after the last several years. Each project she gets to be a part of is a privilege and she’s grateful to work alongside these wonderful dancers and the New World Symphony Fellows.
