NWS Earns a Record 11 Suncoast Emmy® Nominations

NWS Media receives a historic 11 Suncoast Emmy® nominations recognizing groundbreaking WALLCAST® concerts, digital storytelling projects and the first ever Fellow nod.

NWS Media, the creative team behind New World Symphony’s (NWS) groundbreaking WALLCAST® concerts, digital storytelling and livestream production is in the spotlight with 11 Suncoast Chapter Emmy® Award Nominations across a wide range of projects. This year also marks a historic first: an NWS Fellow is nominated.

“We are extremely proud of the work we have done (and continue to do), and these nominations are a testament to the talent, hard work and dedication of the entire NWS Media team who made the projects possible. It’s truly special because they span the entire spectrum of our productions—WALLCAST®/Webcasts, Chasing Crescendos, Modern Masterworks and My Miami—and include multiple members of the NWS Media team, including the first ever Fellow nomination,” said Clyde Scott, NWS Media’s Senior Vice President and Creative Director, who is nominated in seven categories.

This year’s honorees also include 2025 Emmy-winner Roberto Toledo, Justin Trieger, Abdiel Thorne and second-year Audio/Video Fellow Weronika Wrzosek, who is nominated in the Audio Recording, Mixing and Design category for Honeck: Mahler 4.

Originally from Poland, Weronika earned a bachelor’s degree at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, the Netherlands, where she studied sound engineering and music production.

"My NWS fellowship been a huge turning point in my life,” Wrzosek said. “I get to work with an excellent orchestra, soloists and conductors. Over the past year, I’ve been recording orchestral and chamber music almost every week. I'm also learning about audio networking and mixing for the WALLCAST® concerts."

Featured Projects

NWS remains at the forefront of innovation and technology. These nominated projects reflect our commitment to transforming the concert experience, engaging audiences in person and online, and exploring the future of orchestral music.

NWS’s WALLCAST® Concerts project live performances from inside the New World Center onto its 7,000-square-foot exterior wall, paired with immersive spatial sound to create the ultimate outdoor concert experience. Free, open to the public and livestreamed, these performances foster community and remove barriers to experiencing live music.

Last season, NWS launched the short documentary-style series Chasing Crescendos in partnership with PBS’s Great Performances. The series of eight episodes offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at the lives of NWS Fellows and the guest artists who mentor them.

The My Miami YouTube series captures Fellows performing at local public spaces and landmarks such as Matheson Hammock Park, Zak the Baker and The Underline, bringing classical music across South Florida.

Modern Masterworks celebrates living composers, tracing their unique paths to music and diving into their craft and passion.
