A night at New World Symphony is the perfect excuse to dress up and enjoy a glamorous evening out. But there's no dress code. You'll be just as comfortable in smart casual attire or even your favorite pair of jeans. Come dressed however you feel most like yourself. 

Every generation is represented at New World Symphony. You'll see students on their first date, young professionals, long-time subscribers, multigenerational families, and music lovers who have been attending for decades. Most performances are recommended for ages 8 and up. For younger children, our family-friendly Spooky Symphony, Sounds of the Season, and Storybook Symphony concerts are designed to welcome curious young audiences. 

Concerts range in length from 60 minutes to 120+ minutes. A run time for the concert you plan to attend can be found online at nws.edu or by calling the New World Symphony Box Office at 305.673.3331. You’ll also find an estimate run time printed in your program book when you arrive at the concert.   

Accessible parking is available in the Pennsylvania Avenue Garage, located at 1661 Pennsylvania Ave next to the New World Center. There’s a pedestrian bridge on Level 3 that connects directly to New World Center on performance days, opening 1 hour before showtime. There’s a $15 flat rate during concerts. Parking is also available at the 17th Street Garage, located at 1755 Meridian Ave, starting at $2 an hour. Both lots are owned and operated by the City of Miami Beach.  

Arrive a little early to enjoy cocktails, mocktails, coffee, and gourmet snacks by Chef Thierry Isambert at the Carlin Bar inside New World Center. You're welcome to relax with a drink before the concert or return during intermission. While drinks and food can be enjoyed in the atrium or rooftop garden, at most concerts, only bottled water is allowed inside the concert hall. 

Absolutely! You don't need any prior knowledge of classical music to have a great experience. If you have questions, don't hesitate to ask an usher or strike up a conversation with a fellow concertgoer.
