Security at New World Center

Your safety is a priority. All concertgoers will pass through a security check upon arriving at New World Center.  

Security FAQS 

As you enter New World Center from the main entrance, you’ll pass through a security scanner. There is no need to empty your bags or pockets. Please have your tickets in hand when you arrive.  
If you leave the building at intermission or at any point during the performance, you will need to pass through the security check upon reentry.  
Guests entering through the second-floor bridge will encounter a similar check point.  
The scanners use low-frequency electro-magnetic technology, dynamic non-contact detection, and meet EMC electromagnetic radiation standards. The scanner does not harm humans, medical devices like pacemakers, pregnant women, kids or electronic devices. 
Weapons of any kind are not permitted at the New World Center. Some items may trigger a false alarm including laptops, tablets, some umbrellas, portable nursing pumps, etc. If you’re bringing any of these items with you to New World Center, please be prepared to hand them to a security guard before you pass through the scanner.  
All concertgoers must go through the security check before entering the building. Those unable to pass through the security gate will be checked by a security guard.
